Making a Comeback...

It's been so long since I have sat down and typed out a blog, I'm not sure where to even begin.  I think I'll just start "shot gunning" it and hope you can follow along...:)

WE MOVED!  March 9, 2012, we loaded up all our belongings, hooked up our new travel trailer and pulled out of Lumberton, TX.  Randy, Brenda, Jessica and the twins (Steves Mom and family) came with us on this trip.  It took us until Monday to make the journey and about $1,000 in diesel but we are here!

We are finally here!!

Our first "home"- stayed here for 3 days
Finally unhooking the trailer after 4 days on the road!

After arriving in Selinsgrove, PA, we finally unhooked the trailer from the truck!  Randy said he would have to chain his truck to a light post to keep it from running off.  Having been tied to the trailer for so long it was ready to bolt-lol

Now we are here- Steve started work almost immediately.  It was a whole new atmospher and group of men to work with but he seems to really enjoy it!

We moved to our "permanent" temporary home within a few days.  It was a lovely cabin about 10 minutes from town and we had an AMAZING time while there.  It was our home for the first 50 days!

Preston started school and did so well.  I was worried that the move would be tramatic for him.  But he was a strong little cookie and just stepped right into the routine and flow of it all!  We also purchased a second vehicle, since we had sold our Equinox before the move.  The Lord led us to the PERFECT car.  It had everything that Preston and I asked for and was even the right color inside & out!  I LOVE IT!!!

Then it came time to move into our permanent house!  It was exciting and we were READY!  The movers had our stuff unloaded and setup within 1 day.  We unpacked boxes for a week prolly but it was quickly setup.  This house is about 1/3 smaller than our other home so alot of things are still in boxes in our basement.  But it felt so good to have our things around us again.

They were happy to come out of their box & be played with!

Can you see my poor Marley?

A month into the move God opened the door for me to lead the music in the church we are now calling home.  It was such a confirmation to us that not only was the move and job promotion and good thing in our natural world but that God had plans for us to work in His kingdom as well!!

Here is a few pictures of my new team practicing for their Easter cantata and then us in action at our Party In The Park this summer!

Mom, Dad, Heidi, Dean, Abbi, Barrett, Halie and Jonathan all came to visit, within a month of us being here.  We were still in the cabin so it was like a huge family vacation!  They were here for a week and we took one day to go visit Washington DC, which is about 4 hours from us.

We have made great friends, who have opened their homes, lives and secret fishing spots...;)  They have made us feel like we have been here forever and have even found hobbies that we enjoy and keep us busy (outside of work & church.)  I'm going to just attach several pictures to finish out this blog post!

My garden became my major project!  It's a first for me and it as sooo theraputic and relaxing!  I loved it!  Even was able to can some from it (pictures below)
